The challenge was to create a product that would resonate with parents and elevate the overall experience. Using research and observation we identified areas of the KidStrong product that could be enhanced with digital.
With over 16,000 weekly active users and 120,000+ downloads the app resonated well with members, delivering memorable value and contributing to customer retention.
A simple yet very effective feature was delivering parents photos of special moments in class. This provided them with a memorable timeline of their child’s progress.
I crafted an onboarding flow that simplifies the product for existing and prospective customers. Integrating fun interactive quizzes and physical tests provided a taste of the KidStrong experience, making it a valuable tool for orientation and customer recruitment.
Using research we identified the features that mattered to parents and where digital could improve operations. Examples include: child check-in, account management and attendance history.
As part of a future vision project I reimagined the assessment journey, giving a more human-centered focus that better expresses the brand values. This could also be leveraged as a marketing tool for new customers.
